Record what you build. We cut the waiting.
The screen recorder for coding with agents. It fast-forwards the waiting, follows the code that changes, and hands you videos for X, YouTube and Shorts.

Skip the wait
Most of a session is waiting. Your video isn’t.
Swarm Record watches the screen while you record. Still stretches fast-forward under a ▶▶ pill, so viewers know time moved. With Agent mode on, it also speeds through the minutes an agent works while you wait.
- 01
A pill, not a trick.
Every skip says how fast it plays and how long the wait was.
- 02
A real-time clock.
It races through the skips, so a long session visibly becomes a short video.
- 03
Yours to change.
Each skip is a block on the timeline. Make it faster, slower, or real time again.
One recording, three shapes
One recording. Every feed.
X and Shorts get a tall frame that follows the action, with your title on top like a post’s headline. Square is there too. Export them all at once.
Follow the action
The camera knows where to look.
It zooms where the screen changes: your typing, an agent’s new output, what you click. Spinners and ticking timers are left alone.
- 01
Calm, like an editor.
It waits for the action to settle and holds each shot long enough to read.
- 02
A pointer worth watching.
Your cursor is redrawn bigger and smoother, in four styles, with a ripple, ring or spotlight on every click.
- 03
You, on camera.
A bubble of you in nine spots, round, rounded or square, with your voice from any microphone. It makes room when the video zooms in.

What is Swarm Record?
Swarm Record is a Mac screen recorder for coding with AI agents: it fast-forwards the waiting, follows the code and exports for YouTube, X and Shorts. It is a native 20 MB app for macOS 14 or later from OverMCP LLC, the company behind SwarmPane, and it comes with SwarmPane Pro and Ultra.
How is it different from a normal screen recorder?
A normal recorder keeps every second, so ten minutes of watching an agent work stay ten minutes long. Swarm Record plays those stretches fast under a ▶▶ pill, keeps your own typing in real time, and zooms where the screen changes. A real session of 1 minute 55 seconds became a 44 second video.
Do I need a SwarmPane plan?
Yes: Swarm Record comes with SwarmPane Pro and Ultra, with 4K exports. Download it, sign in with your SwarmPane account, and record. Before choosing a plan you can open the built-in sample and try the whole editor.
Does it record what I type?
Never which keys. With Agent mode on (it asks for Accessibility access), Swarm Record notes only that a key was pressed, so it can tell your typing from an agent’s output. Recordings stay on your computer, in Movies › Swarm Record.
Can it add captions?
Yes: it writes them from your microphone, timed word by word, in four styles. It uses Apple’s speech recognition, which runs on your Mac when your language allows it.
Can I cut parts out?
Yes, like any video editor: split at the playhead, click the piece and press Delete, and the clip closes up. Every skip and every zoom is a block you can change, with undo for everything.
Which Macs does it run on?
macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel. It is signed and notarized by OverMCP LLC, the company behind SwarmPane.
Does it update itself?
Yes, from 0.2.0: it checks every hour, downloads new versions in the background and installs them when you quit. Every update is signed and notarized. On 0.1, download 0.2.0 once.
Does it only work with SwarmPane?
It records any screen or any single window. It is tuned for coding with agents, and it shines with SwarmPane’s panes.
